In June 2016 we will be taking 18 practitioners to Lidingo, Sweden for 5 days to embark on a wonderful 2 days of training in the Early Years nature pedagogy, Skogsmulle. This is followed by a unique chance to visit Mulleborg, the nature nursery run by the principle Karin Kajsa Källström, and founded by Siw and Magnus Lind.

Information on booking a place online can be found here or a booking form can be downloaded and returned. Further details about the trip can be found by clicking the picture below, as well as some brief testimonials from academics and practitioners who have experienced this wonderful study visit previously.

“I visited Mulleborg with a group of colleagues and BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies students in June 2015 from Cardiff Metropolitan University. I particularly loved seeing their beautiful outside play-scape and observing them use their enchanting approach to excite the children in their learning through nature. Our morning trek with the tiny children and practitioners to the local ‘Blueberry Mountain’ where real Blueberries were there for the picking was the natural highlight. We saw the kindergarten practitioners use the Skogsmulle approach with the young children to facilitate play and learning in the forest. Of course, I saw the same themes emerging as when I work with children in the woodlands of Wales; engaged, excited, creative independent players who loved the land.”
