Nature Play (Webinar)
This course explores children’s innate connection to nature from a very young age.
We explore how we can use the outdoors and natural resources to create effective learning environments. This 1/2 day (webinar)  course will identify how the outdoors, schema theory and the development of life skills are essential as a tool for planning children’s learning experiences in the early years. The course will also look at the value and opportunities to promote child centred learning through play.

This course is suitable for:

Parents, Nursery staff, childminders, Foundation Phase staff, Forest School & Outdoor Practitioners

Aims
• To explore the key elements that encompass a quality under 5’s naturalistic learning environments.
• To explore the use of children’s schemas to plan experiences to further their learning

• To develop life skills through play/experiential learning.
This course is via webinar with follow up exercises to embed the course aims into own practice.
If you you find this webinar useful we recommend our Skogsmulle Leader course to keeping your understanding and skills for enabling children in the early years thrive outdoors.
