A truly unique Ladybird Parent and Toddler group. Come and join us in our woodland area set in the beautiful Dare Valley Country Park and experience something different with your little one.

Our Nature Parent & Toddler Group will harness all the benefits of nature and the outdoors to provide your child with a rich and healthy pre-school learning experience designed to develop your child holistically (physical, cognitive, emotional & social development).

This group is a prerequisite to attend Wales’ first Nature Kindergarten (re-opening Spring 2021 limited spaces).

We are based in the diverse and wonderful Dare Valley Community Woodland at the County Park providing a range of purposeful learning experiences in our 9 acre woodland. Children are able to explore nature in depth at their own pace leading to a confident and happy child.

 

The range of activities will include:

  • Seasonal focused activities
  • Storytelling & songs
  • Mud kitchen
  • Walks
  • Exploring and foraging
  • Free play
  • Nature Arts Crafts
  • Campfire snacks

This parent toddler group is the perfect social setting for parents with 0-4 year olds (older siblings and homeschool families are welcome).

 

Every Monday

Ladybird Parent & Toddler 10-12 noon is at Dare Valley Community Woodland (wee meet in the large play area by the seats).

 

Autumn  Theme: 

Messy Play, Bird Feeders, Collecting Natural Treasure for play & crafts, planting trees for habitat, along with favourites such as the mud kitchen, watching our rabbits and chickens play, nursery rhymes and songs, campfire snacks.

This block of session will include the October Half term Halloween session with us reading Room on The Broom.
