A truly unique Ladybird Parent and Toddler group. Come and join us in our woodland area set in the beautiful Dare Valley Country Park and experience something different with your little one.

Our Nature Parent & Toddler Group will harness all the benefits of nature and the outdoors to provide your child with a rich and healthy pre-school learning experience designed to develop your child holistically (physical, cognitive, emotional & social development).

This group is a prerequisite to attend Wales’ first Nature Kindergarten.  We are based in the diverse and wonderful Dare Valley Community Woodland at the County Park providing a range of purposeful learning experiences in our 9 acre woodland. Children are able to explore nature in depth at their own pace leading to a confident and happy child.

The range of activities will include:

  • Session focused activities
  • Storytelling & songs
  • Mud kitchen
  • Walks
  • Exploring and foraging
  • Free play
  • Nature Arts Crafts
  • Campfire snacks

This parent toddler group is the perfect social setting for parents with 0-4 year olds (older siblings are welcome).

 

Every Friday

Ladybird Parent & Toddler 10-12 noon meet at Dare Valley Visitor Centre courtyard.
