Dare Valley Nature Kindergarten is a project which is nearing 6 years of dreams, sacrifice and hard-work. Some of that effort can be seen in the video below; showing the development of 4 acres of woodland from wild and rough to accessible and useable; all shaped by the hands of staff and amazing volunteers.
The final leg of opening Wales’ 1st registered Nature Kindergarten is being run as we progress through the final elements of the process; HOWEVER, in readiness for the full time, 8-6 provision, we have been running Nature Parent and Toddler sessions and Kinder Playgroup sessions each week since 2015, showcasing the benefits of outdoor nurseries and Skosgmulle, the Swedish Early Years Pedagogy that we will be implementing, along with Forest School and good old fashion caring Early Years practice.
Please read a sample of articles on our project, the things we do and how other countries have succeeded in their early years eduction by utilising Nature Kindergartens.
