At Ignite UP we believe in fostering and developing talent whether you are about to leave school, or have been teaching for 20 years and are looking for your next challenge.

We have many opportunities to volunteer, train, assist, work part-time, work in holiday periods, freelance or become a delivery partner.

A vital thing for us is to work with like-minded people (see who we are). Your CV and qualifications are important; but when contacting us for opportunities we want to know why you are passionate about child development and the outdoors.

All Ignite and Cyfleon team members will require a teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 in Education and Training), a current First Aid qualification and an outdoor based qualification e.g Forest School Leader. If you do not have these, you still might be the right person for us, as long as you have demonstrable experience and the right values and passion.

If you are interested in working within the community in gardens, landscaping or outdoor construction then we have many opportunities for you to be part of developing our woods at Dare Valley Park, and contributing to the development of Wales’ first Nature Nursery, as well as a community accessible woodland.

See how John-Paul started volunteering us via  Communities First Jobs Fayre, and became part of our Thursday Club, helping to clear the woods and build a dry-stone wall as part of close group of volunteers.
