Part of the Mindstretchers award wining training, and one of Claire Wardens marquee child development training courses. This course will challenge your thinking about why boys underachieve and possibly your own practice or beliefs about how we can engage boys.
This course will explore how to create positive learning spaces that enable boys and kinaesthetic children to thrive both indoors and outdoors. It is designed to look at current research and strategies to support boys’ sense of identity and wellbeing and to extend their shared sustained thinking.

Suitable for:

Management team staff, Foundation Phase & KS2 teachers, LNF, Forest School Practitioners

Delivered by a qualified and practising primary teacher and qualified Forest School and Swedish Early Years Leader.

Aims
• Explore how to create a positive and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment that enables boys to thrive
• Apply our understanding of learning styles and brain development to daily practice

• Identify the adults role in motivating boys to learn through challenge and risk

This course is partly delivered in the outdoors. Please come appropriately dressed for weather conditions.
Lunch is provided.
