Environmental Education KS2

Environmental Eduction is an important part of the curriculum and ESDGC within primary schools, and a fantastic way to teach children with a cross-curricular theme.

Based at Dare Valley Country Park, and the beautiful 500 acres of natural beauty, we provide a range of days focussing on the following areas:

[udesign_icon_font name=”fa fa-tint” color=”#1e73be” size=”1.5em”] – River Studies

[udesign_icon_font name=”fa fa-leaf” color=”#81d742″ size=”1.5em”] – Habitats

[udesign_icon_font name=”fa fa-recycle” color=”#dd9933″ size=”1.5em”]  – Carbon foot-prints

The above programmes are designed to provide real-life examples and learning to compliment the curriculum, as well as incorporating  Literacy and Numeracy, and STEM ideas and activities. We aim to bring the theme and concept to life with a experiential  learning style so that the children are able to apply their classroom based learning in a more rounded and comprehensive way.

We can tailor the activities to suit your focus and needs and amend for half-day or full day activities.
